A special thank you goes to Criste Bleibdrey, who delighted guests with her custom drink creations like the Mena House Iced Coffee and Mermaid Lagoon. These imaginative drinks were a nod to the magical worlds within Blackwick, adding an extra layer of whimsy to the event.

One of the most touching moments was meeting a young middle schooler who was drawn in by the event banner. Her immediate excitement for *The Legend of Blackwick* and her desire to purchase both Book 1 and Book 2 reminded me of the joy stories bring to new generations.
